If you cannot find peace, you may need to create some yourself. It may not look or feel like anyone else’s peace. For a short while , standing by the pond in the evenings, I would play Taps on my coronet, feeling transported into a heavenly bliss. My neighbors probably felt like strangling me for disturbing their peace. These days I bring myself comfort and tranquility photographing water, sky, and weeds swaying in wind, and then mixing them all together into a peaceful landscape in Photoshop.

Beautiful, Robin! Hope to see you in class tomorrow.

This is going to be some class this semester. Especially if we can manage to stay out of Zoom. Cheers, Libby!
Playing taps on your cornet by the pond – that’s a powerful way to end the day and to bring yourself a sense of peace. I doubt your neighbors were pissed off – it’s a pretty short song! I love your cloud/water/weed images. Photoshop is a powerful tool, too!
Photoshop is powerful medicine for me, Lucy. After taking weeks off this summer I finally went back to it on a rainy day and found that it still works for me. New neibors moving in soon, I guess. Trying to figure out a way to find a new instrument to play Taps on.
Beautiful, Robin!
